Triathlon & Endurance Sports Coaching
The Everyday Triathlete is someone who is trying to fit their passion for racing in between the hours spent at work, commuting, family time and their social life.
Unlike the professional triathlete, we do not have the luxury of time. A week is only 168 hours long, subtract the hours required for the demands and responsibilities of everyday life and its easy to convince yourself that there is very little, if any, time for triathlon training. However, it is possible to have it all - a balanced work and family life as well as the ability to train and compete successfully.
The Everyday Triathlete was started because I have spent years working to find a way to do just that: work a demanding full-time job, devote quality time to my family and friends as well as play an active role in my community all while training for triathlons. I am proof that it can be done, last year I competed in 6 triathlons (including an Ironman) and welcomed our second daughter (Avery) into our family. As a father, husband, athlete and a coach I understand more than anyone that those “free” hours need to be used wisely. The Everyday Triathlete can help.
